The Alchemy Thread Carraige
Our thread carriage is like no other. It has full metal bearings, magnet controlled drag, carbon drags on each spool, machined aluminum camera knobs, strong neodymium magnets that can hold scissors, and hand polished stainless eyelets.
For an additional 20$ we can provide a spacer and barrel for holding cones on the bottom 2 bars. This cannot be added on after you’ve received your carriage as it requires special longer bars to be installed. The cone kit comes with several washers to try and be compatible with as many cone sizes as possible.
These carriages are very time consuming to assemble, lead time maybe one week after purchase. I will try to have some instock on hand. We source several parts for these carriages from many suppliers. We are forced to price these slightly higher than we’d normally like because of the uncontrolled nature of the parts prices.
